Waiting for the time change!
Miss Leelee has been waking up between 4.00am and 5.00am. TOO early! Trying to change when she wakes up is hard.. waiting for the time change is easier.
Luckily, right now, her dad wakes up with her and they play till he has to leave for work, just before 7.0am. So I get to sleep in. And then she is ready for her first nap so I get to have my coffee and check email in peace. :)
I probably should get more things done while she is napping but I like the break and am afraid of dropping something and making a loud noise that will wake her up. I am so afraid of people making loud noises and waking her up. I know I shouldn't be nervous about it but she has always had peace and quiet when she sleeps and is used to that.
One of these days we need to put her in her own room. She is almost 17 months old.
Putting her in her own room is hard for several reasons.
1. She is still our baby and once we move her, it feels like she is growing up!
2. If she wakes up at night, will she be scared?
3. If she wakes up at night, will we hear her?
4. If we are not right there in the room, can someone come and take her away without us hearing anything.
All fears. This innate fear we have as parents that some harm will come to our child is fierce. We want to protect them in every possible way.
